Wireless Authentication Type / Preamble?

I am currently creating a wireless configuration application for in-house use. Basically, I have a list of the variables that need to be set on the device. I have basically coded everything already, but there are a couple of options which I am not sure about.

I am creating the front end and I have no idea where to group together "Authentication Type" or "Preamble". Are these Leap or Kerberos options? are they WEP options? are they just general device options? Help!
