Wireless Adapters for my first build!

Hi All,

Need some help trying to figure out which Wireless Adapter to get for my first build:

My desktop is in the basement and the router (Netgear Rangemax N) is in the first floor office/bedroom, the distance is about 25 ft diagonally. the basement has all my entertainment gear, and most of it uses the in built wireless(Smart TV, ROKU, PS3, Xbox, Network Receiver etc) and gets pretty great signal strength, including my laptop, strength is always excellent on the laptop when I'm using it in the basement.

I'm currently debating between these 2 Internal PCI adapters, ASUS PCE-N13- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833320048 and Rosewill RNX-N300X http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833166051,but I'm open to other suggestions too (USB as well).

The ASUS one is a PCI Express, and the Rosewill one (on sale - shellshocker @ Newegg) is a PCI, is there any performance improvements one has over the other. Would a USB be better? What kind of encryption/secuurity should I look for?

Please include links of the products if you can, I appreciate your help very much. trying to purchase one today and start the build on Saturday!
