The Internet is coming in to the building 2nd floor on the far right side. I need wireless to reach all the way to the other side of the building. Currently there is a netgear mimo wireless router which sends the signal to about half that distance but seems to be spotty at best. Some pings are not returnable. 3 out of 4 or so with 1400ms response times.

So new router? Repeater? Run cable and install wireless access point?

Thoughts?

What is between the AP and the client? 50 yards is literally nothing for wifi, unless you have 6 feet of concrete in the middle.

50 yards...that's 150 feet. Then again he's using a Netgear so that would explain a lot of things. Professionally I'd use Cisco WAPs.
