I've got a hardline to another side of our building and do NOT need overlapping wireless access. However, I DO need the networks to be "joined" for purposes of having the "otherside" network able to access the internet through our main network.
So, what is it that I need? I'm wanting to plug into our router (linksys wrt54G v.3 DDRT Firmware) run that cable to the other side and then plug into Product X to have wireless available on the "Otherside" of the building?
In the case that the answer is Wireless Access Point - I've seen reivews on CNet (not so sure about) and customer reviews on Amazon (I didn't like the tone of customer service mixed in with I have to reboot this daily)
so, anyway - the 2ndary question is - what Product X is most reliable?
I'm not able to go to the "otherside" and reset once/week for this thing. I need to buy it, set it up, and WORK. SO, yes I'm willing to spend more than $100 for this device.
Yes, I searched.
TIA!
