Is it every couple of minutes, and are you running Windows XP?

If so, go into your Wireless network card properties, and disable "Use IEEE 802.1x authentication on this interface".

You should then hopefully see it stop disconnecting every couple of minutes :)

I am having this exact problem running XP on a couple of desktops. In Properties, I can't find anything that looks like "Use IEEE 802.1x authentication..." Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Where should I be looking? THANK YOU

I feel very dense, but I can't find this. I can open the network connection and click Properties, but it's not there... How about a hint?

I've tried START/SETTINGS/NETWORK CONNECTIONS/WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION/PROPERTIES but I'm obviously looking in the wrong place. What to do? Thanks.
