I have a Linksys WAP11 and Linksys PC Card in my notebook. After setting up my network I noticed it was very slow. I went into the WAP11 config utility and enabled IP Filtering and *puff* everything was up to speed.

I could sustain downloads b/w one computer running a webserver and my notebook at 500 to 600 KB/sec. A few days later without changing any options it fell back to 20KB/sec and things have been slow ever since... heck at that speed on a half duplex connection it takes FOREVER to print a report or transfer files.... This is with the notebook next to the access point with 100 percent signal and connection quality at 11MB/sec. I am also using the latest WAP11 firmware with the power transmit upped to 100mw with the hack (it really does extend range a lot...).

Any ideas why this is creeping along so slowly?
