Got in on this one. Good deal. I read in several places that a new firmware is out. Several people had reported that it
may loose the connection and needs resets quite often. Hopefully the firmware fixes that. Overall, SMC makes good routers. Let's hope we
do not get a lemon. You just cannot beat the price ($39.99 AR shipped)!!!

this deal used to be about the smc wireless router from amazon.. but.. the deal is over.. i got in on it

it's over cause it was amazon's one day deal thing..

but.. i'm looking at it now.. and it looks like it's still the same price it was yesterday...

I have the 7004VBR. It is the same excpet for not having the Wireless built in. I do not have any reset problems so this must be only related to the Wireless portion of the unit. Resets also seem to be very common with the Linksys?

Yeah, it has 4 ports for 4 computers in a wired LAN.
