Wirefly is a scam!

lol...if not being able to follow the fine print in your contract is a scam, then most of the businesses out there are as well.

overreacting much? Just move onto amazon or letstalk, don't have to get your panties in a bunch.

As bad as the rebates seem, it actually makes sense. If you read the actual rebate terms (this one taken from the RAZR which is free after two rebates)

$60.00 customer loyalty mail in rebate
REBATE REQUIREMENTS
1. Purchase the Motorola RAZR V3 Black (Camera Phone) with Cingular Wireless calling plan from Wirefly.
2. Maintain your Cingular Wireless account in good standing for 180 days.
3. Complete the rebate form provided with purchase. Mail it to the address shown on the form along with the following:

$40 Wireless device mail-iin rebate
1. Purchase the Motorola RAZR V3 Black (Camera Phone) with a new Cingular Wireless account from Wirefly.
2. Pay your first two Cingular Wireless bills in full.

You see, after signing any cellular contract, you have 14 days to cancel with no obligation. Someone could order the phone, get the rebates, and cancel the service. Then Wirefly.com would be out of a phone. It's really not that ridiculous since the RAZR is a $350 phone anyway.

well what about the fact that they almost never honor rebates, have literally non-existant customer service...

Imagine buying a phone, getting charged a bunch of stuff you didn't buy, not getting some of your items, some of the items come defective. It's probably the most frusterating thing to not have somewhere to call (or e-mail since they dont return them) and not recieve an adequate answer or an answer at all
