Wired vs. Wireless mouses for gaming

I don't know about any of you guys, but my nearly 2-year-old Microsoft Optical Blue mouse is more than adequate for first person shooters. I don't play online too much but for single-player it works just fine. I personally don't buy into the whole "lag" from wireless mouses making any visible difference than wired ones. Plus, I never have to worry about a cord knocking over my pop can castles 😀
 
i personally use a wired mx500, but only because of budgetary constraints. 😛
i know people who have never had anything bad to say about their wireless mice while gaming- id stick with logitech, though.
