Wired to Wireless Speakers

I am sort of a noobie when it comes to home theater and audio visual, but I have a pretty cheap panasonic home theater dvd playing stereo thing. Model No. SC-HT730/SC-HT733/SC-HT930/SCHT933. I have it hooked up to my television, but the wires going to the back of the room are really grinding on my nerves. Will I have to get all new speakers for wireless, or is there some sort of way I can use the existing ones with another gadget to have wireless speakers?
