Wired Router with more than 8 Ports

Is there a good SOHO router with more than 8 ports? I would love 16 lan ports, 12 would work? I have an 8 port linksys now that works fine.

Is there a good way to cascade some routers or switches together?

Thanks in advance🙂

I don't believe you will find good quality SOHO routers with more than 4 ports. I think it would be best to pickup a solid 4 port router, then attach a single large switch to it, and have all the computers run to the switch. Maybe one of the networking guru's will answer it better, but hopefully this helps somewhat.

The above advice is just fine.

If you use two switches, put devices that have to talk to each other at high speed on the same switch if possible.
