am i the only who really admires the design work in wired magazine? i just think a lot of it looks really cool.

one good example is "The In Crowd" Feb 02 (94-99). that's actually the article that prompted this post, i love how it looks! it's so clean and crisp!

speaking of such magazines, has anybody ever read the mit one? tech review or something... is that any good?

Nice layout and inks, but japanese magazines and mangas blow it out of the water, multi color inks, dif. colored pages, cardboard foldouts, postcards, pack ins, stickers, posters, bags, .....

yeah, the MIT mag is good too content wise-..similiar to WIRED but less adds. A lot of the material I read in it last time I saw it was similiar to what you might see in the highly technical forum.
