Wired computers can't see those in wireless net

I got a new wireless router (Buffalo WHR-HP-G54) and used the automated setup from the CD. It used 192.168.11.1 as its IP, and the wireless connections get 11.2 and up. My wired computers is on 192.168.1.1, etc...

Questions: Should I change this and put everything in the same network, , or there's some settings to fix the problem (I tried to put the wireless in the 1.x but I failed; computers could ping each other, but the wireless conn's had no internet).

Both the wired and wireless nets have internet access; computers on wireless ping computers on the wired net, but in the Windows network interface computers from one net don't shown in the other.

Thanks for any suggestion...

Are you using two Routers?

If you do and you want one cohesive Network the Router that is Not connected directly to the Modem should be configured as an Access Point.

Yes, I have the Westell 2100 DSL modem (which is not wireless) and I connected the Buffalo to it (through an old switch I had). I think I'll have to take the time to fix that first. I tried to use the DHCP from the modem but I couldn't make it work.

Just follow Jack's link and you'll be done. To change the net mask on the computers, you'll have to log in to both routers and change it there as well, so you might as well just log in to the Buffalo router and set it up as an access point (which is not only easier, but will also work better).

Correctly setting the Buffalo as an Acess Point solved all the problems. I think I had the cable going into the wan port, instead of a regular port. Now I see my directv box through the client bridge I set up, with $22 router with dd-wrt. THANKS!
