does anyone know about or own AMS Tech Roadster 15 laptop?
I have a Roadster laptop and had my screen broken some time ago....I got another LCD from a guy on eb@y from the same model (his mobo was broken). Once I got it, I hooked it up to my laptop and it doesn't work. So I email the dude and tell him that the lcd he sent me doesn't work.... he tells me that he tried to connect this lcd to his compaq laptop so he rearranged the wires on the right wire harness (as if you look at the lcd, there're two wire harnesses, one from the left, one from the right that connect to the motherboard) so that it would work with his compaq.....and he says that he forgot to switch the wires to their original positions and it will work....but I don't know the order they are supposed to go in (like pin 1 - red wire, pin 2 - black, pin 3 - no wire, etc.)...So I'm asking for help from you guys...
If you know or can look on yours can anyone please tell me the wire combos on the right wire harness for this laptop???
Thanks, all help is appreciated

Instead of trying to rearrange the wire harness, why don't you just swap the LCD's? You can't exactly rewire the pins on the LCD itself and your harness hasn't been tampered with right? I am talking about removing the LCD from the assembly and moving it over to your assembly.

THe problem is, most LCD's have a propritary interface, so it will not match without that wiring conenctor :(
