Wiping A Chromebook, Installing Win?

My friend wants to know if they can wipe Acer C7 Chromebook and install Win 8. I've never played with one, so I don't know if you can go into the BIOS and boot to an external DVD drive and wipe and install.

I don't know, nor do I care. I was asking for a friend (as stated) who, for whatever reason, wants to do this. I simply would like to know if it is possible. If this is assuaging, let me restate the question and ask if the Chromebook can be wiped and any other OS installed.
