Wipe bad SAS drive in an array

Hey-
We have a couple of (2) Fujitsu 15k 146gb SAS drives that went bad in our two Poweredge 2950 servers (1 out of each server). Dell sent me warranty replacements for both. I've already swapped them out.
One of the servers is our backup server, but the other one is our main and contains PHI (protected health information). I'd like to wipe that old drive before sending it back to Dell. If I stick it back in the server (or backup) won't it try to rebuild onto it? In both servers, we have 4 drives each.

Any ideas?

Thanks
