Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my post 🙂 . Installed
(Build 3790 Service Pack 1, v,1433) Last night. On a compaq R3370US Laptop.
Under the manufacturers specifications it says "Digital Audio" my soundcard.
"real descriptive" I know.. I popped in my driver recovery cd (hoping) these 32-bit Drivers would work.Nope. And The driver manufacturer is "Soundmax".
I havent pinpointed the model number. I am wondering if there is any resources someone
could point me to ? relate to my situation, tell me how you fixed it ?
planetamd64 is down due to a powersurge and have forum data loss
64bitstuff is just starting out, and doesnt seem to have much : tried a soundmax on their site. Doesnt work. Please Help?
::Useful Information For Geforce Users Maybe::
I noticed performance (after install) while dragging windows, was horribly slow.
Went to nvidias website, and grabbed the 64-bit extension drivers, no change.
Scrolled through microsofts drivers that were already loaded onto my system from the disk, I selected "Geforce 4 MX440 (microsoft corporation)" Restarted.
bam! nice.
It was my first choice since my laptop has a Geforce 4 Go Graphics GPU. Let me know what you guys think.
