I use the built in PPPoE connection to connect to the internet in WinXP, but it always disconnect, why? I have already turned off the auto-disconnect function.

I also used the built in Internet connection sharing function, but the client can't browse some of the web site, why? Pls help.

Could be that you have a network setting that is not set right. Go over all of your settings.

However you should know that a lot of people experience these type of troubles. It seems that these type of services given by Win XP are quirky, to say the least.

The best solution is to spend $50-$70 and get a Cable/DSL Router.
