Hello forum members,
I hope this question has not already been posted, but I presently have a dual boot system - Windows XP and Windows 98SE - each on separate partitions and it works fine. I did it the easy way by installing Windows 98 SE first, then Windows XP last, allowing Windows XP to automatacally configure the dual boot option, a feature included in Windows XP.
My problem is this: I want to reinstall Windows 98SE over itself to make it more stable but if I do, the option to boot into Windows XP will be wiped out because Windows XP needs to be installed last for dual boot to work. So my question is how can I recover the Windows XP boot option once again after I reinstall Windows 98SE over itself without reinstalling Windows XP again? Surely there is an easy way to do this. Thanks much if anybody can help.
