I have a Venice 3200@2800 with 1.62v in winxp(1.616 with cpuz)..bios reports 1.64 with DFI SLI-DR
I am using 1.5v * 110% overvid
temps with XP90/vantec stealth with small ffts 47-51C after 1hr
I know most say to stay at 1.6v....I do not have a voltmeter ...I suspect bios is more accurate????
I have run a winny for 9mo at 1.63 on xp90...seems fine..the bios reports as 1.63v and so does winxp ...on Neo2 Plat
I have no idea based on searches whether I will really affect the venice chip with this vcore(most say 1.6-1.65 v is safe)....max temp for this chip is 57c
so why would winxp and bios differ ...is there really undervolting or just bad reporting by cpu-z and speedfan
