WinXP user folder inaccessable (with the data)

WinXP won't boot, so to get data off, we of course slaved the drive up to another WinXP machine.

On install, he selected 'only this user should be allowed to see my data', and thus, his user folder is locked.

It behaves as if its encrypted, but the encryption flag is not set.

Ideas?
 
You need to take ownership of the files, this is different from encryption (currently no account on your system has permission to the files)
