WINXP types for me

i have winxp and officexp.. whenever i plug my mic in, it will lag my computer and it will type whatever it hears. how do i disable this with having to uncheck SPEECH everytime?

I had the same problem appear too. It took me about 2 days to figure out. I had to disable the "microsoft language bar" for office XP, and go into excel & word, goto 'tools', then 'speech', and make sure there is NO check in the box.

After that, no problems.
