WinXP: "There are unused icons on your desktop" prompt

Any way to get rid of this useless notification that pops up in the system tray every now and then?

God, how I yearn for a "shut the fsck up Microsoft" button on the keyboard, to close the stupid dialog boxes such as this. Along with a couple error messages that are useless...

while I agree that it's annoying, it REALLY helps the newbs out there. Do you have any idea how my installs and shortcuts to like wmp or quicktime or winzip there are on people's desktops?

It's a good feature

Thanks!

Part of the WinXP setup process for many people here is probably turning off all the newbie-friendly features.
