Hi
finished building a new computer, will install Winxp home from a new CD OEM just purchased.
I have a SP2 CD from MS I can install after the OS is installed from above described.
Question is:
After installed both CD's and hopping all goes well, can I backup/restore all upgrades I have from another PC I have that is kept up to date into the newly installed OS in the new computer to save the time to bring it back to current updates.
If how?
thank you very much
David

thanks for your reply.
What is the advantage on slipstreamed XP SP2?
I have the Install CD for WinXP
I have the Install CD for sp2
I have installed previously both in sequence and did not seem to me much of a problem, I am sure there must be an advantage on using the slipstreamed technique but cannot see it.your comments greatly appreciatedDavid
