Is Norton's not compatible with SP2's security control panel? It never says that my anti-virus program is ok. Any ideas?

Same here

Currently have mines set on yellow status (not monitored), if it's not set as such it's @ red status. OTOH ZoneAlarm registers fine with Windows's Security Center but after updating to the latest version.

Symantec is still working on the plug in to make it report right to the security center.

I had the same problem with Panda Titanium 2004 and Kerio Personal Firewall 4 ,however they have fixed it with their auto update :).

What version? NAV2004 is fixed. NAV2003, AFAIK, isn't, but some Symantec guys are here - perhaps they can comment.

I think (IMHO) that turning off the security center functionality is a bad idea.
