WinXP SP2 CD doesn't detect HDD

Hi,

I have a Thinkpad R61 laptop and I'm trying to install WinXP on another HDD. However, even though BIOS recognizes the HDD, the Windows installation doesn't. What's wrong?
 
Nevermind, found the problem. I just went to BIOS and switched the SATA to compatibility mode.
