WinXP SP1: Bluescreen on boot, pls help!

Hi, I just installed XP SP1, and when it rebooted to complete the install (and all subsequent reboots), it bluescreens before the boot completes. I tried safe mode, but that bluescreened too. I have to do a hard reboot to get out of the bluescreen. I know I can 'uninstall' the service pack from winXP, is there any way to do so while booted into another operating system (this system dual boots)?

Any help is appreciated in advance.
