WinXP SP1...and, 2k or xp?

When is this thing supposed to be released?

Also, I have Win2k and downloaded sp3. Which is better for stability: Win2K SP3 or WinXP? (if anyone has xp sp1, how does that compare?)

Thanks

Slipstream that link is for SP2, but I guess there is little difference in how you do it.

SP1 for XP is coming soon. The actual day is hard to say. Windowsxp.nu says it will come out Aug. 7th, but I'm not sure if that was right (I thought it would be at the end of this month).

As for win 2k or XP, it's a personal preference. They both are stable, but XP has "extra" features that you may or may not use. You really can't go wrong with a properly setup win 2k system.

In terms of stability, either one will do fine. They're both not easy to crash unless you're trying to crash them on purpose.

As far as slipstreaming goes... LINK

I ran both operating systems on my computer and I like them both just fine. I'm using XP because I like the way all I have to do it plug in my digital camera. Then the computer finds it and I can transfer my pics over. I don't even have to use the software that comes with the camera.
