I know I'm not the only one. I was talking to some people on IRC and some seem to have this problem too.
After I installed the IE6 December Cumulative patch, all my sounds- MP3s, Games, Video, you name it -all sound like they puffed some helium. They are all squeaky now and seems a bit faster.
Also, my sound card now is called ESS 1969. I distinctly remember it being ESS Audio Drive ## before.
Anyone else getting this problem? Or better yet, anyone know of a fix for this problem?
