WinXP Sound Control Panel missing events

Some of my program events, like Default Sound, is missing from my Sound control panel? Anyone know how to get it back?

I have the same problem with my SPDIF Out missing on my system at home with my Live Drive. I hate it as I can't send digital sound to my pre-amp. I have to use the blasted Line-Out. :|

Just another XP feature as they call it.
