Maye I'm nuts, but this sounds like XP's Networking Setup Wizard is a bit like a packet sniffer to me:
Then, 15 seconds later, a screen popped up telling me what wireless networks were available in my location ? and asked me if I wanted to join one.
Anyone running an XP RC with a wireless card who can shed some light? Stuff like: How much info it provides, etc.?
