Hey Group
I just enabled the WinXP service pk2 firewall but there isn't a firewall icon on the lower right.
However, when I check the WinXP service pk2 firewall icon in the Control-Panel it does say that its activated...wuz up???

thanks

There is no active firewall icon in the system tray. You'll only see Security Center alerts with a red shield in order to get your attention to problems, a yellow shield informing you about Windows Updates, or a green shield mentioning that your computer was recently updated.

You can verify the status of the firewall on each network connection by opening up "Network Connections" and having your icons set to a tiled view.

Thanks AsianriceX, btw, anyone know to make the firewall allow my wifes email accnt. to work while the firewall is enabled? I know its the firewall stopping it becuse when I disable it her email accnt. works just fine.

Since I am the 'computer-admin' my works just fine but when I log off and try hers out it gets stopped everytime 🙁

thanks,
your friendly neighborhood CA
