WinXP scheduler problem

I am using the final version of WinXP Pro.

I am having trouble getting the scheduler to work. I have searched the net and found one place where it was mentioned that one person had similar problems after using system restore. He couldn't get it fixed again without reformatting and reinstalling. Anyone else know of an easier fix?

Never mind. Figured it out. I fixed it by restarting the scheduler service manually, and now it always works, even after rebooting. Weird because before doing this, I must've rebooted several times (which I assume restarts the service!) and it wouldn't never work.
