WinXP: Remote desktop

hey guys, I searched through the forum for remote desktop and couldn't really find a satisfactory answer to my problem. I'm trying to connect to my computer from school. I have set up a second account on my home computer to use for remote desktop, are there any settings i need to change because this will be a remote desktop acccount? I disabled the firewall, enabled remote desktop and remote connections. I sit behind a Linksys 4 port router, which I think is causing my problems.

Also how do I connect to the computer using win2k? Do I just go into to run and type //myip?

thanks guys!

Insert your Windows XP CD into your Win2K machine. Click tools or utilities or something like that, you install a small client onto your computer and use that to control your XP machine. That client can be installed on Windows 95 and up, very nice little utility.
