Hi,

I got selected for the WinXP Reliability Study and I'm wondering if when you hook up to their servers, they will be able to spy on your system?

Will they be able to snoop on my computer or are they just wanting to hook up to give them the questionnaire that I have to fill out on every reboot?

AFAIK even if you agree to monitoring, it would be illegal for them to snoop on your system for
stuff that is not related to the reliability study. But that would also depend on the agreement
you made to be accepted into the test program.

What does the response letter that you got accepting you into the program say? You should
be able to read thru that to determine the extent of monitoring they expect to do for you.
Or there should be a point of contact from the program that you can ask.
