WinXP + Redhat 9 dual-boot problem

I have just installed RedHat 9 and chosed LILO as bootloader, however when I finished installing I did not have any choice which OS I want to boot and it goes into XP directly, what's my problem?

you probably installed the boot loader on the first sector of the linux partition, not the hard disk
