WinXP Question: Changed file association but icon didn't change?

I changed the file association of *.pl (perl) files from the activestate perl to gvim because I want gvim to open the file when I double click it instead of execute the script. However, the file icon did not change along with it. I can't seem to find a way to do this.

Go into your "folder options" again, and click on the ".pl" extension. Click on "Advanced" and "Change Icon."
