I'm having the problem, it's going into the Classic Windows login rather than the Welcome logon screen on bootup.... This is a fresh install. In Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Select the way Users Logon and Logoff, I selected Use the Welcome Screen and Use Fast User Switching and then click Okay but it doesn't seem to save the settings as the boxes are unchecked when I go back in. One thing I noticed is that on the machine that works correctly, in Control Panel -> System Properties -> Advanced Tab -> User Profiles (Desktop Settings related to your logon), it shows one extra profile that goes:
NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Anyone know how I can manually create this one since I can't seem to figure out how to add this one as SOLAR\Administrator and SOLAR\vince are fine. The machine is running in workgroup DNALOGIC.NET with the computer name SOLAR so it's not running as a domain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
