WinXP Pro /w Soyo Dragon Promise Raid controller in Ultra mode how do i enable write cache?

Drives in XP are listed as SCSI drives and write caching is off, is there a way to either a) make XP think the ultra promise controller is a standard IDE controller so that i can enable cache or b) change the drives to IDE drives to enable cache? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance!!

for scsi drives Adaptec's EZSCSI 5 can be used to enable the write cache .
don't know if it would work for your raid array, though worth a shot IMO!
