WinXP Pro Remote Desktop - Stopped working?

after using rdp into my home server for years, all of a sudden, rdp has stopped working from any computer on my lan. same ip, same settings, everything is the same - nothing has changed and i have verified this. when i try to connect i get the white popup that says the receiving machine basically can not be reached.

this just happend in the last couple of days - anybody else experiencing this?

Doublecheck the IP on both machines. I had a randomly changed IP address have me scratching my head for hours yesterday, as RDP suddenly stopped working.

have checked the ip on both machines - no changes. this one has me baffled....
