Hey all,

I just got WinXP Pro, and cannot get it to play my CS. It loads the game fine, then when I enter the game, XP politely removes me from the action. It said that my open GL was not compatable with the game? WTF, using Dets 22.20 for XP. Anybody else have this problem? I heard there was supposed to be a patch available somewhere for XP/VIA/ATHLON. Am in desperate need of some gaming loving, so fast responses are most appreciated.

You can try the 23.11 Dets. Maybe thats it? Are your running a pure VIA board or an AMD 760 board with VIA southbridge?
 
Got it,

Needed to right click on the CS icon and set compatability mode to ME. That cleared up the problem. Thanks so much fellas 🙂
