Ok so I went to sleep and woke up with my PC off. I always leave it on but I guess power went out. Anyway I turned on my PC but once it got to win logon screen it started scanning and found about 10 errors. Once I logged into windows I tried to change some settings but it tells me I do not have the right because I am not a admin.

My system won't let me change any hardware or clock settings. I can't even try to do a upgrade from windows disc because it thinks I am not a admin.

Any help is appreciated.

If I were you'd I'd do a virus scan, look at what processes are starting on boot. Sounds to me like some sort of virus is messing around with your permissions. I've seen that happen a lot.

I keep norton running all the time. I do a daily scan with norton and AVG. My system was fine before windows scanned at login and found errors. I'm guessing my registery or my windows install got corrupt but only way I see to fix it is clean install and I would rather not :/
