Hi guys. My system is as follows:

AMD Duron 1Ghz
Geforce 2MX 400
256MB SDRAM
10GB & 2.5GB hard drives
Sound Blaster Live Value
OS: WindowsXP Professional
?and a few other stuff that I don?t think that are relevant much to this topic?

I am very very pleased from my system so far, as I upgraded it recently. It plays most of the games with no hiccups or framerate losses. My only question is this: Although I have no problems with my machine?s performance I know that WinXP is a heavy OS in terms of requirements. Because I want the upmost performance in gaming, do you know any modifications that I can do on WindowsXP in order to squeeze out even more performance?

This wont help gaming performance all that much, but it will definitely make your desktop feel a lot more responsive. Right click on my computer and select properties. Then select the advanced tab, and click on performance settings. Select best performance and you'll feel the difference.
