Guys,
A new install of XP Pro, SP3, IE8. I have three users with admin privileges. My user account responds normally. The other two accounts seem to start normally, but after the user desktop is loaded, the only response from the desktop is the mouse pointer. Clicks from the mouse, as well as keyboard input, have no impact. This behavior was not the case when I set up the system (a couple of weeks ago), but I can't recall what may have changed to cause this.
My only recourse is to reset the system via the power button. I'm open to any suggestions you might have, as to why this is happening. I did a Google search but came up empty-handed.

UPDATE: This is an HP-specific XP install, and for whatever reason it doesn't like multiple user accounts. I deleted the two accounts that had the "non-functioning" desktops, and then set up a new account. That account also had desktop issues.
