If I'm running WinXP Pro on Virtual PC 6.1 for Mac, do I still run the risk of getting viruses? And if I do, would there be any chance for them somehow messing with my Mac files, or would it stay isolated within Virtual PC?

Aren't most viruses windows-specific though?

Although what bradolsen said is true, even if it DID get out, the virus probably wouldn't know what the hell is going on, just like you can't run windows software on the MacOS...

... that was a question, not an answer. I honestly don't know, but this is what I would assume.

Thanks for the help. I'm usually smarter then this, but I was second guessing myself seeing as how the windows files do reside on a mac harddrive. And that's partly why I have a Mac because there's very little worry in the way of stuff like this, but you never know, something might leak out.
