WinXP not auto synch time w/time server?

i can surf the web. so what's wrong?

Wow, what a coincidence. I was just researching this tonight as well. Here's a time server I found that worked:

time-a.nist.gov

Put that in your Windows Time settings. It doesn't necessarily always ping (it may ignore ICMP protocol).
 
Mines set to time.windows.com. I just tried it and it updated fine. But, never really paid a lot of attention to it, tho.
