I've got a regstry thing from hardforum that takes off mouse accel and wut not. And i belive thats worked. maybe. But i'm still angry that the mouse is still moving funny in games on XP. The accuracy goes way down. It's a problem with XP but I just dont' know what it is. You can most tell when you move the mouse diagonal really slowly. It shafts my aim in many games. I'm getting tired of it . Anyone ANYONE know of this... and if so . Do you know how to fix it. I see it on every comp and ever mouse with XP. HELP plz

Geez. Maybe I'll see it now that you mention it.

I use a marble mouse and Ive used an optical mouse and never experienced/noticed that.

In any case...doesn't XP have an option to not use Accel. in mouse settings? I'd say so. I have XP and I'm almost positive it's there.

Anyway - Good Luck

I only have a solution for counterstrike. Try adding " -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd " to your target line. This fixes it everytime for me. (right click cs shortcut > properties > paste to end of target line). Mine looks like this... C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game cstrike -noforcemparms -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd

I've used the registry trick as well. Duno what else you can try if it's still bothering you. Good luck
