Someone please help! Last night, everything was working fine. No changes. Then this morning....
WindowsXP immediately reboots itself everytime it starts to load the 'Windows Login' prompt. I've tried safe mode; safe mode with command prompt; etc. No matter what I do, the machine immediately reboots itself just before it asks me for my login information.
I don't care about re-installing XP itself; but the problem is I have a directory under /program files/ that I need to save.
Of course I'm using NTFS, and this machine has no floppy drive.
Is there ANY way to boot the frickin machine up so it goes straight to a console prompt so I can copy that directory onto a secondary drive? Or anyone have any ideas how to fix/what the heck my machine is doing rebooting itself like that?
