WinXP in a different language: How?

My friend bought a laptop from Dell. But she can only read and speak Portuguese. Is there any way to get Windows to be Portuguese or do I have to buy a International version?
 
I thought there was something in the accesabilty options to change the language/region..?????

Play around with the Regional and Lanuage options in the control panel, might be enough to hold her over till she can find a new version.
 
You can change the keyboard layout to a Portuguese layout, but all the menus and such will be in English. Also, any programs you buy will have to be the Portuguese programs in order to get the Portuguese menus and such inside the program.
