WinXP: How to disable auto cd-check?

So... guys and girls...

Windows XP checks all the time to see if there is any CD in the drive and especially
when launching explorer and when an open/save dialog pops up.

Any clue how to disable this function? I hate it... hehe

Yes, I tried it but maybe I didn't select the right option.
Can you tell me wht option will affect this cd-check?
